Save the date: eBay & Quill to discuss the future of work at Retail Week Live

Billed as the ‘single largest gathering of retail leadership in the UK’, this year’s Retail Week Live event – taking place 7-8 March at the Intercontinental London, The O2 – promises to bring together over 1,400 attendees from 300+ companies, with over 150 world-class speakers lined up to discuss the most pressing trends and issues impacting the retail sector.

The agenda crams in 48 hours of speakers, workshops, roundtables and seminars, but one session not to be missed is ‘The Future of Work in the Digital Age’, in which Ed Bussey, CEO & Founder of Quill, will be joined by Gareth Jones, Marketing Director of eBay UK, for a Q&A discussion to explore the impact that digital transformation could have on the retail workforces of the future:

“The digital revolution has ripped up the rulebook for almost every industry, and retail is no exception. Gareth is Marketing Director at eBay UK. He has been running the UK marketing team for just over two years, with responsibility for all brand work and broadcast advertising, social and influencer content, CRM and loyalty activity, and digital relationships across search, display, programmatic, affiliates and measurement. He previously worked at Compare the Market looking after commercial performance and marketing strategy – this included supervising the Meerkat marketing campaign for several years. Previously he has worked across advertising, digital, ecommerce and content roles at BestBuy, Carphone Warehouse, Capital One and T-Mobile.

Ed Bussey is Founder and CEO of Quill, the disruptive, fast-growing digital content production business.
