FT Future 100: Quill named an industry ‘Disruptor’

We are delighted to announce that Quill has been selected for the FT Future 100 2018/19 index, honouring fast-growing companies that are making an impact in their industry and wider society.

Building on our placement earlier this year as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies in the FT 1000, Quill has also been recognised as one of the UK’s most exciting ‘Disruptors’.

To rank among the 100, businesses were assessed by a panel of expert judges on compound annual growth rate, past work, adherence to environment, social and governance policies (ESG), industry disruption and diversity. Among the other companies acknowledged were drinks merchant Fevertree, online estate agent Housesimple and food delivery platform Just Eat.

Despite being one of the youngest businesses on the list, Quill impressed with its pitch, technological development and consistent growth, with a CAGR of 76% between 2013 and 2016.

Ed Bussey, Quill’s CEO and Founder, comments: “I am immensely proud to see Quill featured in the inaugural FT Future 100, alongside some of the best in modern British business. As a technological platform offering a whole new solution to the ecommerce content problem, it’s extremely rewarding to see this recognised in our placement as a ‘Disruptor’.

“My thanks go to our investors and clients, without whose support the business wouldn’t be where it is today. And of course I have to thank the team, whose incredible energy, dedication and positivity have driven Quill to be not only a market-leading content solution, but a great place to work as well.”
