Quill researches how retail content inspires and influences

For retailers, the question is no longer whether they should be investing in content, but what the role of that content should be.

Quill recently undertook some research to understand  whether content on retail websites is doing enough to inspire and influence consumers.

Key findings that highlight the importance of content in supporting the customer journey include:

  • 66% of purchases are influenced by content
  • 51% of consumers buy more than they intend to because of content
  • 40% feel their opinion of a brand is influenced by content
